The most challenging was that how the people around the park were not understand the importance of gorillas (ingaryi in kinyarwanda language) and the most were killed but know the acknowledge that to conserve these gorillas are their responsibilities. the signs of communication among them, they use both non-verbal and verbal communication just like a human being. We explored more about some history of Dr.DIAN FOSSEY who discovered that the gorillas can survive and she took care of it loved so much gorillas than anyone else but unfortunately, she died in 1985.ĩ8% of gorillas life is just like a human being. ![]() We saw how this park brought about many development for the people including infrastructures, like hotels, roads, schools, hospitals and electricity due to tourism and this park promoted about research and education by educating the young students around the park the main importance of it and ask them to protect it for future generations. This is a big park and home of more Gorillas have a beautiful look and very great climate. If you’d like to go on to do field work with wild animals in their native habitat, like studying gorillas in Rwanda, you should apply for field schools or internships that will introduce you to studying primates in the wild.ĥ.We had a great chance to visit the ELLEN DEGENERES CAMPUS OF THE DIAN FOSSEY GORILLA FUND situated in MUSANZE District specifically in Kinigi sector of Northern province of Rwanda. For those of you interested in behavioral research, interning or volunteering at a reputable zoo or similar well-regarded facility will help immensely. If you’re interested in wildlife biology or conservation, volunteering for a local conservation organization is a great way to gain important experience. Since the primatology field is so competitive, volunteering and interning is almost always a must if you want to research or otherwise work with wild animals.
